data explained.
After graduating, I wanted to ensure I remembered important data science concepts that I learned in my courses. I love animations and a heavy inspiration of mine is the YouTuber 3Blue1Brown. I'm a visual learner and I found that my courses needed visual representation of complex data science concepts. This is what motivated me to recreate everything I learned using Manim, a Python library for creating mathematical animations.

Process
I start with going through my course notes and reviewing concepts that I want to animate. I will create a rough storyboard of how I want the video to play out. Then, I will start playing around in Python to create the visuals that will end up as the final product. Manim allows for mathematical operations to be visualized accurately. You can find the drafts of the code on Github.
I compile the animations into editing software, such as DaVinci Resolve, and clip the animations together into one cohesive piece. Lastly, I record my voiceover to teach the concept alongside my animation.
